Ulisure 5mg Capsule is indicated for the prevention of emergency pregnancy due to unprotected intercourse or a known or suspected contraceptive failure. Ulisure 5mg Capsule is not intended for routine use as a contraceptive. A lower dose of ulipristal acetate may be used to treat moderate to severe symptoms of uterine fibroids (also known as myomas), which are non-cancerous uterine tumours (womb).
Ulisure 5mg Capsule contains ulipristal acetate, which stops progesterone from working usually. Ulisure 5mg Capsule also works by stopping or delaying the release of an egg. Therefore, it helps as an emergency contraceptive.
Ulisure 5mg Capsule has to be taken within 120 hours (5 days) of sex to prevent pregnancy. It is not meant to be used as a primary method of contraception. However, you can use emergency contraception more than once throughout a menstrual cycle if necessary. You may experience headaches, abdominal pain, nausea, dysmenorrhea, fatigue, and dizziness. It may make your next period earlier, later or more painful than usual. The majority of Ulisure 5mg Capsule's side effects fade with time. However, if the adverse effects persist, consult your doctor.
Do not take Ulisure 5mg Capsule if you're allergic to ulipristal acetate or any ingredient present in Ulisure 5mg Capsule. Choose a diet high in whole grains, fruits and vegetables, and low-fat dairy products.
Include heart-healthy omega-3 fatty acid-containing foods and beverages in your daily diet.
