The common cold is a viral infection affecting the upper respiratory tract, primarily triggered by rhinoviruses. The symptoms include nasal congestion, sore throat, cough, and mild fatigue.

Tufnim-Total Tablet is a combination of three drugs: Levocetirizine (antihistamine), Nimesulide (NSAID), and Phenylephrine (decongestant). Levocetirizine relieves allergy symptoms like a runny nose and sneezing. Nimesulide blocks chemical messengers that cause pain and inflammation. Phenylephrine reduces nasal congestion. Together, Tufnim-Total Tablet helps treat cold and allergy symptoms.

Do not take more than the prescribed dose of Tufnim-Total Tablet , as it may cause an overdose. If you suspect you have taken an overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.

Inform the doctor if you have fits, high blood pressure, diabetes, Raynaud’s disease (a problem that causes cold feet and hands), overactive thyroid, glaucoma, kidney, liver, or prostate problems, difficulty emptying the bladder, phenylketonuria (a congenital disability that causes accumulation of amino acid, phenylalanine in the body), heart or circulatory problems. Avoid using Tufnim-Total Tablet if you have taken medicines such as linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, rasagiline, isocarboxazid, tranylcypromine, and methylene blue injection in the past 14 days.
