Tufnim-Total Tablet is used to treat common cold and allergy symptoms. The detailed uses of Tufnim-Total Tablet are as follows:

Tufnim-Total Tablet is a combination medication used to treat common cold symptoms. It may also be used to treat allergic symptoms like sneezing, runny nose, congestion, stuffy nose, or watery eyes. Tufnim-Total Tablet contains Levocetirizine (antihistamine), Nimesulide (NSAID), and Phenylephrine (decongestant). Levocetirizine works by blocking the action of histamine and relieving allergy symptoms like a runny nose and sneezing. Nimesulide works by blocking chemical messengers responsible for pain. Phenylephrine reduces nasal congestion by reducing the swelling of blood vessels in nasal passages. Together, Tufnim-Total Tablet helps treat cold and allergy symptoms.

• Tufnim-Total Tablet can be taken with food or as advised by your doctor.

• Swallow Tufnim-Total Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.

Do not take Tufnim-Total Tablet if you are allergic to any of its ingredients. Inform the doctor if you have fits, high blood pressure, diabetes, Raynaud’s disease (a problem that causes cold feet and hands), overactive thyroid, glaucoma, kidney, liver, or prostate problems, difficulty emptying the bladder, phenylketonuria (a congenital disability that causes accumulation of amino acid, phenylalanine in the body), heart or circulatory problems. Avoid using Tufnim-Total Tablet if you have taken medicines such as linezolid, phenelzine, selegiline, rasagiline, isocarboxazid, tranylcypromine, and methylene blue injection in the past 14 days. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tufnim-Total Tablet is not recommended for children below 12 years of age. Tufnim-Total Tablet may cause drowsiness or sleepiness, so do not drive or operate heavy machinery unless you are fully alert.
