Triogrip Tablet is a prescription medicine used to help manage asthma, allergic bronchitis, Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD), and allergic rhinitis (hay fever). It contains three medicines that work together to help keep the airways open, reduce airway inflammation (swelling), relieve allergy symptoms, and make mucus easier to clear. This medicine is used for long-term control of these conditions and should be taken regularly as prescribed.
Take Triogrip Tablet exactly as directed by your doctor, even if your symptoms improve. It can be taken with or without food. Continue taking the medicine for as long as your doctor recommends to help maintain symptom control. Avoiding smoking, limiting exposure to allergens and irritants, and following your treatment plan can also help improve your respiratory health.
Like all medicines, Triogrip Tablet may cause side effects, although not everybody gets them. Common side effects include headache, dry mouth, stomach discomfort, dizziness, or drowsiness. Some people taking montelukast have experienced serious mood or behaviour changes. Contact your doctor promptly if you or your family notice changes such as agitation, anxiety, depression, unusual dreams, or suicidal thoughts.
Before taking Triogrip Tablet , tell your doctor if you have liver disease, kidney disease, epilepsy, stomach ulcers, heart problems, or any other long-term medical condition. Also tell your doctor if you have ever experienced mood or behaviour changes while taking montelukast or similar medicines. Do not take this medicine if you are allergic to any of its ingredients.
If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy, or breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking Triogrip Tablet .
