Triclear-N Gel is a topical medicine prescribed to treat acne vulgaris. It combines nadifloxacin, a fluoroquinolone antibiotic, and adapalene, a third-generation synthetic retinoid, to treat acne from different angles. It helps clear active pimples, blackheads, and whiteheads while reducing inflammation and helping prevent new breakouts.
To achieve the best results, apply this medicine exactly as directed by your doctor, usually once daily in the evening. Apply it only to clean, dry skin and use it on the affected areas only. Following a gentle skincare routine, using non-comedogenic products, and maintaining a balanced diet may also help support healthy skin.
While using this medicine, you may experience mild side effects such as temporary dryness, peeling, redness, or a mild burning or stinging sensation. These effects are usually temporary and improve as your skin adjusts. However, stop using the gel and contact your doctor if you develop severe skin irritation, swelling, blistering, or signs of an allergic reaction.
Talk to your doctor before using this medicine if you have very sensitive skin, eczema, seborrheic dermatitis, or severe sunburn. Do not use it if you are allergic to nadifloxacin, adapalene, or any of the other ingredients.
Avoid using this gel together with other irritating topical products, harsh cleansers, alcohol-based skincare products, or unnecessary antibiotic acne treatments unless advised by your doctor. If you are pregnant or planning to become pregnant, consult your doctor before using this medicine because adapalene (the retinoid component) is generally not recommended during pregnancy. If you are breastfeeding, ask your doctor whether this medicine is suitable for you.
