Triben XT Cream is used to reduce swelling, itching and redness caused by bacterial and fungal skin infections. It blocks the production of prostaglandins (chemical messengers), which makes the skin red, swollen and itchy. Also, it kills fungi and inhibits the growth of bacteria. It may cause side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. Before taking this medicine, you should tell your doctor if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant/breastfeeding and about all the medications you are taking and pre-existing medical conditions.

About Triben XT Cream

Triben XT Cream belongs to a class of dermatological medication that is used to reduce swelling, itching and redness caused by bacterial and fungal skin infections. Bacterial skin infections occur when bacteria penetrate through hair follicles or the skin breaks, allowing them to infect the skin.

Triben XT Cream is a combination of chlorocresol, Clobetasol, Miconazole and Neomycin. Clobetasol blocks the production of prostaglandins, chemical messengers that can cause the skin to become red, swollen, and itchy. Miconazole works by causing holes in the fungal cell membranes and killing fungi. Neomycin works by inhibiting the production of essential proteins necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Chlorocresol acts as a preservative.

Triben XT Cream is for external use only and is generally safe to use. Some people may experience side effects such as dry skin, burning, irritation, itching, and redness at the application site. Mixed infections: This cream, which contains antibiotics and antifungals, can be used to treat skin infections caused by both bacteria and fungi.
