Tredaptive 1000 mg/20 mg Tablet is used to treat dyslipidaemia, particularly in patients with combined mixed dyslipidaemia (characterised by elevated levels of LDL-cholesterol and triglycerides and low HDL-cholesterol) and primary hypercholesterolaemia (heterozygous familial and non-familial). Dyslipidemia is a condition characterized by an imbalance in lipid levels.

Tredaptive 1000 mg/20 mg Tablet contains Nicotinic Acid and Laropiprant. Nicotinic acid lowers LDL/bad cholesterol and triglycerides while increasing HDL/good cholesterol. Laropiprant helps reduce flushing, a common side effect of Nicotinic Acid. Together, Tredaptive 1000 mg/20 mg Tablet helps treat dyslipidemia and hypercholesterolaemia.

In some cases, you may experience some side effects like diarrhoea, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, upset stomach or heartburn, headache, and flushing. What if I have taken an overdose of Tredaptive 1000 mg/20 mg Tablet

Please do not exceed the prescribed dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose may include flushing, pruritus, headache, dizziness, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, epigastric pain, abdominal pain, and back pain. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe any symptoms or think you have overdosed.

Tredaptive 1000 mg/20 mg Tablet is contraindicated in individuals with hypersensitivity to its ingredients, significant or unexplained liver dysfunction, arterial bleeding or active peptic ulcer disease.
