Tizalud D 50 mg/2 mg Tablet is a combination medicine that contains pain relievers and muscle relaxants. It is used to treat spasticity (muscle stiffness and spasms) associated with pain. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, causing uncomfortable sensations in the body. A muscle spasm occurs due to involuntary contractions of a muscle. A spasm may be a muscle cramp or feel tight or stiff, like a knot.

Tizalud D 50 mg/2 mg Tablet contains Diclofenac (NSAID) and Tizanidine (muscle relaxant). Diclofenac blocks prostaglandins (PGs) that cause pain and swelling. Tizanidine works on the centres of the spinal cord and brain. This helps relieve muscle stiffness and improves muscle movements. As a result, Tizalud D 50 mg/2 mg Tablet helps to reduce muscle stiffness, spasms, and pain.

Tizalud D 50 mg/2 mg Tablet is prescribed medication, and it should be taken as directed by the doctor. What if I have taken an overdose of Tizalud D 50 mg/2 mg Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Tizalud D 50 mg/2 mg Tablet may include nausea, vomiting, low blood pressure, a slow or abnormal heartbeat, dizziness, small pupils, difficulty breathing, coma, restlessness or sleepiness, and ulcer in your stomach or gut. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Tizalud D 50 mg/2 mg Tablet if you are allergic to its components.
