• Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD): Tioform Respicaps helps relax and open the airways, making breathing easier for people with COPD, including chronic bronchitis or emphysema.
• Asthma: It may be used as part of long-term asthma treatment to help prevent symptoms such as wheezing, coughing, and chest tightness, when prescribed by a doctor.

• It is recommended to take Tioform Respicaps twice a day or as advised by your doctor.
• It is a capsule with powdered medication which is placed in a Rotahaler/Transhaler, a plastic inhalation device that releases the medication when you breathe. The capsule should be placed at the base of the rotahaler/transhaler, and completely twist the mouthpiece until you hear a click sound. Then, breathe in through the mouthpiece deeply and hold your breath for 10 seconds. Remove the device and breathe out normally.
• Remove the inhaler and hold your breath for a few seconds, then breathe out slowly.
• Rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after using it to avoid fungal infections in the mouth and throat.
• It is for inhalation only. Do not swallow the capsule.

• Avoid respiratory irritants: Stay away from tobacco smoke, air pollution, dust, and strong chemical fumes, as these can trigger sudden airway narrowing and reduce the effectiveness of Tioform Respicaps .

• Always rinse and spit: Make it a strict habit to rinse your mouth with water and spit it out after every single dose to significantly lower your risk of developing oral thrush (a fungal mouth infection).
• Keep track of your doses: Regularly check the built-in dose counter on your inhaler to ensure you do not run out of medicine unexpectedly.
• Keep the device dry: Clean the mouthpiece of your device once a week using a clean, dry tissue or cloth. Never wash the device with water unless the manufacturer’s instructions explicitly say to do so.
• Watch for sudden breathing tightness: If your breathing suddenly worsens or you experience wheezing immediately after inhaling your dose, stop using Tioform Respicaps and seek emergency medical care right away.
