Your doctor may prescribe Themiset Injection 5 ml to help manage the following conditions:

• Chemotherapy-induced nausea and vomiting: Helps prevent the feeling of sickness and throwing up both immediately after cancer chemotherapy and during the days following treatment.
• Post-operative nausea and vomiting: Helps prevent nausea and throwing up that can occur after undergoing surgery under general anesthesia.

• The dosage and timing are decided by the doctor, depending on the cause and severity of symptoms.
• Do not self-administer this medication.
• Patients are monitored during and after administration to ensure safety and effective control of symptoms.

• Eat small, frequent meals: Eating smaller meals more often may help reduce nausea and make eating more comfortable.
• Choose simple foods: Plain foods such as toast, rice, crackers, bananas, or porridge may be easier to tolerate. Avoid greasy, spicy, or very rich foods if they make your nausea worse.
• Drink enough fluids: Sip water or other clear fluids regularly throughout the day to help prevent dehydration. If tolerated, ginger tea may also help relieve mild nausea.

• Be aware of serotonin syndrome: Seek medical help immediately if you develop symptoms such as agitation, confusion, shivering, fever, muscle twitching, or heavy sweating, especially if you also take antidepressants or other medicines that affect serotonin.
• Tell your doctor if you have heart rhythm problems: Inform your doctor if you have a history of an irregular heartbeat, long QT syndrome (a heart rhythm disorder), or low potassium or magnesium levels before receiving this medicine.
• Take care if you feel dizzy: If you feel dizzy or drowsy after receiving the injection, avoid driving, cycling, or operating machinery until you feel well again.
• Tell your doctor if constipation becomes severe: Constipation can occur with this medicine. Seek medical advice if it is severe, persistent, or accompanied by abdominal pain or swelling.
