Beclomethasone belongs to the class of corticosteroids that works by inhibiting the release of certain chemical messengers in the body that cause redness, itching, and swelling. Gentamicin belongs to the class of antibiotics that works by binding to the 30S ribosomal subunit in bacteria, disrupting protein synthesis, and causing bacterial cell death.
