Taxim O CV Dry Syrup effectively treats infections caused by bacteria only and does not treat viral infections like flu or a common cold.

Taxim O CV Dry Syrup is a combination medicine containing Cefixime (cephalosporin) and Clavulanic acid. Cefixime works by inhibiting the formation of the bacterial cell wall (a protective covering) that is necessary for their survival. How to manage the interaction:

To ensure adequate vaccine response, you should not receive cholera vaccine until at least 14 days after you complete your antibiotic therapy.
