TALECELM PLUS TABLET belongs to the class of medications called ‘antidepressants' primarily used for the treatment of depression, which is a mood disorder that causes a persistent feeling of sadness and loss of interest. Depression is also called a major depressive disorder or clinical depression, it affects how you feel, think and behave and can lead to various emotional and physical problems.

TALECELM PLUS TABLET contains a combination of two medicines called alprazolam and fluoxetine. Alprazolam is a benzodiazepine (BZD) that increases the action of GABA (gamma-aminobutyric acid), a chemical messenger that suppresses the abnormal activity of the nerve cells in the brain. Fluoxetine is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI) that increases serotonin levels, a chemical messenger that improves mood.

Take this TALECELM PLUS TABLET in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not chew, crush or break it. TALECELM PLUS TABLET may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time. TALECELM PLUS TABLET may cause common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, confusion, memory impairment, drowsiness, tiredness, low sexual desire, and uncoordinated body movements.
