About Taftrio Tablet

Taftrio Tablet is an antiretroviral medicine used in the treatment of HIV. Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) is a retroviral infection that attacks and damages the cells of the immune system. This weakens the ability to fight against infections and diseases. If this condition is left untreated, it can lead to Acquired Immuno Deficiency Syndrome (AIDS).

Taftrio Tablet contains Bictegravir, Emtricitabine and Tenofovir as key ingredients. It works by inhibiting the HIV reverse transcriptase enzymes necessary for the virus's DNA reproduction.

Taftrio Tablet may cause side effects such as nausea, headache, abdominal pain, loss of appetite, vomiting, fatigue, diarrhoea, myalgia (muscle pain), skin rash and other allergic reactions. If these side effects persist, please consult your doctor. Taftrio Tablet should be taken as advised by your doctor.

Taftrio Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. This medicine is contraindicated in patients with Hepatitis B infection and severe hepatic impairment. Taftrio Tablet should be avoided if you are allergic to it. This medicine is contraindicated in patients with severe hepatic impairment, hepatitis B infection and a combination of other HIV medicines.
