TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML belongs to the group of medicines called prostaglandin analogue indicated for lowering intraocular pressure in patients with open-angle glaucoma or ocular hypertension. Glaucoma is an eye disease that causes damage to the optic nerve and results in reduced vision. Ocular hypertension is increased pressure in the eye due to poor drainage of aqueous humour (fluid in the eye that maintains normal pressure by its continuous flow). 
 
TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML contains ‘tafluprost’, which works by increasing the outflow of aqueous humour, thereby helps lower the increased pressure in the eye. 
 
You are advised to use TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as headache, dry eyes, itching, irritation, and redness of the eye. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.
 
Avoid using TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML is not recommended for children below 18 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established. • Manages Glaucoma and Ocular Hypertension: TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML is used to treat open-angle glaucoma and ocular hypertension, and helps to preserve eye health.
• Reduces Intraocular Pressure: TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML helps to lower high pressure in the eye, reducing the risk of vision loss.

• TAFLUMA EYE DROPS 2.5ML is for ophthalmic (for eye) use only.
• It is usually instilled once daily in the evening or as directed by your doctor.
• Check the label for directions before using this medication.
• Lie down and tilt your head backward. Gently pull your lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the prescribed number of drops into the pocket. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
• Replace the cap tightly after each use.
• Avoid touching the container tip to the eye or eyelids to prevent contamination.
