Thus, it lowers cholesterol and fats levels and helps to prevent stroke, heart disease and heart attack. It may cause side effects such as myalgia (muscle pain), asthenia (lack of energy), nausea, headache, abdominal pain, muscle pain, weakness, and daytime drowsiness.
