About Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml

Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml belongs to a group of antibiotics used to treat bacterial infections of the ear, nose, sinuses (sinusitis), throat (tonsillitis, pharyngitis), lungs (bronchitis, pneumonia), and urinary system (cystitis and kidney infections). Infectious or harmful bacteria can make you sick and reproduce quickly in your body. These harmful bacteria produce toxins, damaging tissue and making you sick.

Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml contains Cefixime (antibiotic) and Lactic Acid Bacillus (beneficial lactic acid-producing bacteria). Cefixime kills the bacterial cell by blocking the chemical (mucopeptides) released by the bacteria's outer layer (cell wall). In turn, Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml weakens and destroys the bacterial cell wall. It is a broad range of antibiotics that helps in fighting various types of bacteria. Lactic Acid Bacillus is a beneficial lactic acid-producing bacteria (good bacteria) that supports the growth of friendly bacteria in the intestine, maintaining a healthy balance of microflora in the gut environment. Lactic Acid Bacillus prevents diarrhoea due to a prolonged intake of Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml. Thus, together Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml helps in the prevention of infections.  Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml will not work for colds, flu, or other viral infections.

Take Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml with or without food. It should be swallowed as a whole, do not crush or chew the tablet. The dose and duration of Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml can vary depending on your condition and the severity of the infection. It is also recommended to complete the course of medicine even if you feel better, as it is an antibiotic. Leaving it in between may lead to severe infection that will stop responding to the antibiotic (antibiotic resistance). Sometimes, you may experience certain common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, indigestion, abdominal pain, and Headache. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before starting Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml, please inform your doctor if you have any allergies (against any antibiotic) or kidney or liver problems. Do not take Sporix Paediatric Dry Syrup 30 ml on your own, as self-medication may lead to antibiotic resistance in which antibiotics fail to act against specific bacterial infections.
