How Solitral Capsule Works

Solitral Capsule is a combination of two medicines: Alfuzosin (alpha-blockers) and Solifenacin (antimuscarinic). • Alfuzosin works by blocking the action of alpha-1 receptors and causes smooth muscle relaxation in the bladder and prostate (walnut-sized gland located between the bladder and the penis). • Solifenacin works by inhibiting the contraction of the smooth muscle wall surrounding the bladder, resulting in decreased bladder activity. This helps to control the release of urine and helps reduce your symptoms. • Collectively, both of them improve the symptoms of Benign Prostatic Hyperplasia (BPH).
