Skizoril MD 50 Tablet is used to treat schizophrenia. Additionally, Skizoril MD 50 Tablet is also used to reduce the risk of suicidal behaviour in patients with schizophrenia or other similar disorders. Schizophrenia is a medical condition in which the person may feel, hear, or see things that are not there, believe things that are not true, or feel unusually suspicious or confused.

Skizoril MD 50 Tablet contains Clozapine, which works by blocking the effects of chemical receptors in the brain, such as dopamine and serotonin. Thus, it helps in improving mood, behaviour, and thoughts.

Depending on your medical condition, you are advised to take Skizoril MD 50 Tablet for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you. In some cases, Skizoril MD 50 Tablet may cause side effects, including tachycardia (a fast heartbeat), dizziness, headache, tremors, sweating, dry mouth, nausea, constipation, and visual disturbances. Directions for Use

  • Skizoril MD 50 Tablet can be taken with or without food.
  • It is usually taken 1-2 times daily at the same time each day or as prescribed by your doctor.
  • Place the tablet on your tongue and let it dissolve before swallowing.

If you forget a dose of Skizoril MD 50 Tablet , take it as soon as you remember. However, if it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose and take your regular dose. Do not take a double dose to make up for the missed one.
