About Silero Vaginal Film

Silero Vaginal Film is used to treat and prevent vaginal infections. It helps maintain the vaginal pH balance and prevents irritation, itchiness, dryness, burning sensation, and unpleasant odour. Vaginal infection is the infection of the vagina and vulva (tissue at the opening of the vagina).

Silero Vaginal Film contains Lactic acid, which works by stabilising the healthy, acidic pH of the vagina. This helps strengthen the natural protective function of the vaginal flora. It acidifies the vaginal pH, thereby supporting the growth of vaginal bacteria while having a negative effect on the disease-causing germs.

In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as a stinging sensation, itching and redness at the site of application. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

• Silero Vaginal Film is usually used about an hour before sexual intercourse or as suggested by your doctor.• Wet the intimate area with water. Pour a few drops of the solution onto the palm and apply externally on the vagina. Rinse thoroughly with water and pat dry.• Wash your hands well before and after using the solution.
