Satisfaction Gel is used to produce local numbness (anaesthesia) on the skin before surgical procedures or injections. Pain is a symptom triggered by the nervous system, which causes uncomfortable sensations in the body. Pain may be dull or sharp, constant or intermittent, and the tolerance level of pain might vary from person to person.

Satisfaction Gel is a combination of amide-type local anaesthetics: Lidocaine and Prilocaine. It blocks the influx (entry) of sodium ions into the membrane surrounding the nerves, thereby preventing the initiation and conduction of impulses. Hence, it gives an anaesthetic effect and helps decrease the sensation of pain.

Use Satisfaction Gel as suggested by your doctor. Do not apply it to broken, irritated skin or open wounds unless directed by your doctor. In some cases, you may experience certain common side effects, such as reactions at the application site (burning, itching, redness, and irritation). Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before using Satisfaction Gel, tell your doctor about your medical history, especially if you have broken skin/infection in the area where Satisfaction Gel is to be applied, heart disease, liver disease, or a certain blood disorder (methemoglobinemia). Inform your doctor before using Satisfaction Gel if you plan to get pregnant, are pregnant or breastfeeding. If Satisfaction Gel comes in contact with the eyes, nose, mouth, rectum, or vagina, rinse with water immediately. Do not apply Satisfaction Gel on the swollen skin areas or deep puncture wounds. • Post-surgical Pain Relief: Satisfaction Gel provides post-surgical pain relief by numbing the skin, alleviating localised pain and discomfort after surgery.
• Skin Irritation Management: Satisfaction Gel numbs the skin, providing temporary relief from irritation caused by minor burns, insect bites, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, and other skin conditions by blocking nerve signals.
• Dermatological Procedures: Satisfaction Gel is used before dermatological procedures like laser treatments or chemical peels to numb the skin, reducing pain and discomfort.
• Sexual Activity support: In some cases, Satisfaction Gel application can be used to help manage premature ejaculation in men by numbing the area, thus extending sexual activity duration.

• Generally, you may need to use it at home up to 4 hours prior to your surgery/procedure.
