Rioci 1 Tablet is used to treat the following conditions:

• Chronic Thromboembolic Pulmonary Hypertension (CTEPH): Rioci 1 Tablet helps improve exercise capacity and physical symptoms in adults with CTEPH who cannot have surgery, or those who still have high blood pressure in the lungs after undergoing surgery to remove blood clots.
• Pulmonary Arterial Hypertension (PAH): Rioci 1 Tablet helps lower blood pressure in the pulmonary arteries, improving the patient's ability to exercise, walk further, and delay the worsening of physical symptoms.

• Stay Active Wisely: Engage in gentle, low-impact exercises like walking, but only after discussing a safe physical activity plan with your doctor. Stop immediately if you feel dizzy or short of breath.
• Avoid Smoking: Smoking cigarettes can significantly speed up how fast your body processes this medicine, making it less effective. If you smoke, talk to your doctor about support for quitting. If you stop smoking while taking this medicine, your dose may need to be adjusted.
• Monitor Fluid Levels: Weigh yourself daily at the same time. A sudden increase in weight can be a sign of fluid buildup in your body, which you should report to your healthcare provider.

• Pregnancy Warning: This medicine can cause severe harm to an unborn baby. Female patients of childbearing potential must use highly effective birth control during treatment and for one month after stopping and undergo regular pregnancy tests.
• Never Mix with Nitrates: Do not take this medicine if you use nitrates (such as nitroglycerin) for chest pain, or recreational drugs called 'poppers,' as this can cause a life-threatening drop in blood pressure.
• Avoid Erectile Dysfunction Medicines: Do not use medicines for erectile dysfunction, called phosphodiesterase (PDE) inhibitors, such as sildenafil or tadalafil, while taking this medicine, as combining them can cause dangerously low blood pressure.
• Watch for Bleeding: This medicine can increase your risk of serious bleeding. Be cautious with sharp objects, avoid contact sports, and report any unexplained bruising or bleeding to your doctor.
• Avoid Antacids Near Dose Times: Antacids containing aluminium or magnesium can stop your body from fully absorbing this medicine. Avoid taking these antacids within one hour of taking your tablet.
• Rise Slowly: To minimise dizziness or lightheadedness when standing up from a sitting or lying position, get up slowly and steady yourself.
