About Rinval Tablet 2's

Rinval Tablet 2's is used to treat cytomegalovirus (CMV) infection of the retina of the eye in adult AIDS patients. Also, Rinval Tablet 2's is used to prevent CMV infection in patients who received an organ transplant from a donor infected with CMV. Cytomegalovirus (CMV) retinitis is a viral infection of the retina (light-sensing cells) caused by cytomegalovirus.

Rinval Tablet 2's contains Valganciclovir which works by getting converted to ganciclovir in the body and inhibits the multiplication of the virus. Thereby, it helps to control the infection.  

Take Rinval Tablet 2's as prescribed by your doctor. You are advised to take Rinval Tablet 2's for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience diarrhea, loss of appetite, cough, headache, stomach pain, nausea, fever, tiredness, or sinusitis (sinus infection). Most of these side effects of Rinval Tablet 2's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

If you are allergic to Rinval Tablet 2's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. Avoid taking Rinval Tablet 2's if you are pregnant, as it may cause birth defects.
