• Inspect the solution: Before administration, ensure the solution is clear, particle-free, and the container is intact.
• Do not mix with ceftriaxone: This medicine should not be mixed with ceftriaxone in the same intravenous line, particularly in newborns and infants, unless appropriate compatibility guidelines are followed.
• Report infusion-site problems: Tell your nurse immediately if you experience pain, burning, swelling, or coldness at the infusion site.
