Remylin Ax Tablet belongs to a class of medications called nutritional supplements used to treat nutritional deficiencies.
Remylin Ax Tablet contains multivitamins and amino acids. Methylcobalamin helps in treating certain anaemias and nerve problems. Vitamin D3 regulates necessary metabolic functions in the body for proper growth and development. Folic acid increases red blood cells (RBC) and haemoglobin (a protein) production in the body. Levocarnitine is an amino acid that works by allowing the body to utilize fats to produce energy. L arginine and acetylcysteine provide essential nutrients to the body.
Remylin Ax Tablet may cause diarrhoea as a temporary side effect. Eat non-spicy food and drink plenty of fluids if you experience diarrhoea. However, if the condition persists or worsens, please consult a doctor.
You are not recommended to take Remylin Ax Tablet with warfarin as it may increase the risk of bleeding. However, if you are supposed to use these medicines together, please consult a doctor so that an alternate medicine may be prescribed.
Remylin Ax Tablet should be used with caution and in doses as advised by a doctor in dialysis patients with kidney failure. Talk to your doctor if you have any concerns.
Methylcobalamin, also known as mecobalamin, is a form of vitamin B12. It plays an important role in producing red blood cells, maintaining nerve health, and converting food into energy.
If you are taking a vegetarian or vegan diet, you might not get enough B12 from your food. Conditions like pernicious anemia, gastrointestinal disorders, or surgeries that affect the stomach or intestines can impair your body's ability to absorb B12. As you age, your body becomes less efficient at absorbing vitamin B12. Certain medications, such as acid blockers and metformin, can interfere with B12 absorption. However, if you suspect you have a vitamin B12 deficiency, please consult your doctor for appropriate treatment.
Vitamin B12 deficiency can lead to a variety of symptoms and health issues, including fatigue, weakness, pale skin, tingling (Sensations of pins and needles, especially in the hands and feet, due to nerve damage), balance issues, memory loss, mood changes, swollen tongue and mouth ulcers, breathlessness, dizziness, heart palpitations, chest pain, and vision problems. If you experience any of these symptoms, please consult your doctor.
Carnitine deficiency can be caused by fasting, viral infections, liver disorders, diarrhoea, diuresis (excessive production of urine), haemodialysis (medical treatment for kidney failure), critical illnesses, gastrointestinal surgery, ketosis (utilizing fats for energy in the body), genetic disorders, and enzyme deficiencies like carnitine palmitoyltransferase deficiency, methylmalonic aciduria, propionic acidemia, or isovaleric acidemia.
Vitamin D deficiency can cause bone pain, muscle weakness, increased fracture risk, rickets in children, and osteomalacia in adults, frequent illness, depression, fatigue, and general malaise. It also increases the risk of infections, and depression, and can lead to skeletal deformities.
Yes, it's generally safe to take folic acid even if you are not pregnant. Generally folic acid helps in reducing the risk of certain birth defects, supporting brain function, and potentially lowering the risk of some chronic diseases. However, it's always a good idea to consult with your doctor before starting any new supplement to ensure it's appropriate for your individual health needs.
Take Remylin Ax Tablet with or without food as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Take it at the same time each day to maintain the consistent levels in the body. Do not break, crush or chew it.
The common side effects of Remylin Ax Tablet are nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, fever or tiredness. If any of these side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
Remylin Ax Tablet should be used with caution in children and only if prescribed by a doctor.

Remylin Ax Tablet should be used with caution in children and only if prescribed by a doctor.
