Rabium Plus Capsule used in the treatment of Hyperacidity, Gastro-esophageal reflux disease, Peptic ulcer. The detailed uses of Rabium Plus Capsule are as follows:

• Reducing Stomach Acid: Rabium Plus Capsule helps to decrease the production of stomach acid, providing relief from hyperacidity, heartburn, and gas.
• Treating Gastro-esophageal Reflux Disease (GERD): Rabium Plus Capsule alleviates symptoms of GERD, such as acid reflux and heartburn, by reducing acid production.
• Healing Peptic Ulcers: Rabium Plus Capsule facilitates the healing of peptic ulcers by reducing stomach acid and promoting gastrointestinal health.
• Improves Digestion and Gut Motility: Rabium Plus Capsule enhances digestion and promotes gut motility, aiding in the movement of food through the digestive system and reducing symptoms like bloating and gas.
• Manages Nausea and Discomfort: Rabium Plus Capsule manages nausea and discomfort caused by indigestion.

• Rabium Plus Capsule is a combination of Rabeprazole and Itopride.
• Rabeprazole is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) that works by blocking the action of an enzyme called the gastric proton pump, which is responsible for acid production.
• It minimises the release of acid from the stomach, which provides relief from heartburn and acid-related digestion.
• Itopride works on the part of the brain responsible for controlling vomiting.
• It increases gastric emptying and improves gastric sensitivity and tension by increasing the stomach's movement and intestines in the upper digestive tract. It also has antiemetic action.

• Take Rabium Plus Capsule with or without food, or as advised by a doctor.
• Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safety.
• Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.

• Eat smaller meals more often.
• Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
• Maintain a healthy weight through regular exercise.
• Avoid lying down after eating.

• Rabium Plus Capsule causes dizziness, so drive only if you are alert.
• Rabium Plus Capsule should not be given to children as safety has not been established.
• Avoid consuming alcohol along with Rabium Plus Capsule as it could lead to increased drowsiness and elevate stomach acid production.
• Keep your doctor informed about all the medicines and your health condition to rule out any side effects.
• Consult your doctor if you experience unexplained weight loss, stomach pain, indigestion, vomit food or blood, or if you pass black stools.
• On long-term treatment, Rabium Plus Capsule may cause osteoporosis and hypomagnesemia (low levels of magnesium), and may reduce the absorption of vitamin B12.
