Qvir Kit Tablet is used to treat HIV infection. It contains Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, Emtricitabine, Atazanavir, and Ritonavir. About Qvir Kit Tablet

Qvir Kit Tablet belongs to a group of medicines called antiretroviral agents indicated for the treatment of HIV infection. It may decrease your chance of developing acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) and HIV-related illnesses such as serious infections or cancer.

Qvir Kit Tablet contains Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate, Emtricitabine, Atazanavir and Ritonavir. They work by decreasing the amount of HIV in the blood and increasing the number of immune cells that help fight infections in the body. Thus, Qvir Kit Tablet helps treat HIV infection.

In some cases, Qvir Kit Tablet may cause side effects such as headache, nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Medicinal Benefits

Qvir Kit Tablet is used to treat HIV infection. It contains Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate (nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors), Emtricitabine (nucleoside reverse transcriptase inhibitors), Atazanavir (protease inhibitors) and Ritonavir (protease inhibitors). Tenofovir disoproxil fumarate and Emtricitabine reduce the amount of viral load in the body by preventing the virus from multiplying. Storage

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.
• Keep Qvir Kit Tablet out of reach and sight of children.
• Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ºC to 25ºC or below 30ºC.

What if I have taken an overdose of Qvir Kit Tablet

Do not take more than the prescribed dose. If you take more than the prescribed dose accidentally, please go to the emergency department of the closest hospital or nursing home. No specific side effects have been reported under these circumstances.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Qvir Kit Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have/had hepatitis B or C infection, liver, kidney or heart problems, diabetes, haemophilia (bleeding disorder) or if you are allergic to sulpha drugs. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy. Women with HIV should not breastfeed as the virus may pass to the baby through breast milk.
