Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet is indicated in treating high blood pressure (hypertension). It lowers blood pressure and reduces the risk of fatal and nonfatal cardiovascular events, primarily strokes and myocardial infarctions. High blood pressure is when the blood exerts increased pressure on the walls of blood vessels.

Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet contains Quinapril and Hydrochlorothiazide. Quinapril widens the blood vessels in the body and helps reduce their pressure. Hydrochlorothiazide helps the body get rid of extra fluid. Together, Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet helps treat high blood pressure.

Directions for Use

• Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet can be taken with meals to help reduce stomach upset.• It is usually taken once daily at the same time each day, preferably in the morning, or as directed by your doctor.• Swallow Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.• Do not chew, crush, or break it.

What if I have taken an overdose of Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet

Don't exceed the recommended dose. High doses of Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet may lead to adverse events. An overdose of Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet may cause hypotension, dehydration and electrolyte depletion (hypokalemia, hypochloremia, hyponatremia). Contact your doctor immediately if you experience these or think you might have taken too much.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Q Press H 10 mg/12.5 mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components, if you have a history of angioedema, kidney disease or problems passing urine, obstruction in the heart that slows blood in the heart, hereditary (inherited)/idiopathic (unknown cause) angioneurotic oedema (swelling of the face, tongue or throat which causes difficulty breathing), diabetes or impaired kidney function and you are treated with a blood pressure lowering medicine containing aliskiren, or if you are taking sacubitril/valsartan, a medicine for heart failure. Inform the doctor if you have/had skin cancer, aortic stenosis (narrowing of the main blood vessel from the heart), kidney, liver or heart problems, low blood pressure, dry cough, collagen vascular disease (deposits of collagen in your blood vessels), asthma, angioedema, diabetes, gout, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE, an allergic condition which causes skin rashes, joint pain and fever), salt/electrolyte imbalance, eye problems, pregnant or breastfeeding, or if you are due to undergo any surgery, or desensitisation treatment. Seek medical attention if you experience symptoms of visual disturbances/increased pressure in the eye (intense pain, headaches, redness of the eye, tender eye area, misty vision and loss of vision), neutropenia or agranulocytosis (fever, mouth ulcers, sore throat, unexplained bruising or bleeding, tiredness, or a blood problem such as low/lack of white blood cells), breathing or lung problems (severe shortness of breath or difficulty breathing).
