About Pulmosil Suspension

Pulmosil Suspension belongs to the group of medicines called phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE 5) inhibitors primarily used to treat erectile dysfunction (impotence) in adult men. However, it helps the person to get an erection only if he is sexually stimulated. Erectile dysfunction is the inability to keep a hard and erect penis suitable for sexual activity. In some cases, Pulmosil Suspension is also used to treat pulmonary hypertension (high blood pressure in the lungs). 

Pulmosil Suspension contains Sildenafil and sodium benzoate. Sildenafil works by relaxing the blood vessels in the penis, thereby allowing the blood to flow into the penis when the person is sexually excited. Sodium benzoate acts as a preservative. 

Take Pulmosil Suspension as prescribed by a doctor. You are advised to take Pulmosil Suspension for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you, depending on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience common side effects such as headache, nausea, dizziness, blurred vision, indigestion and stuffy nose. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

• It is recommended to take Pulmosil Suspension before food for effective action.• Take Pulmosil Suspension 30 minutes to 4 hours before sexual intercourse. However, it is best to take it an hour prior to sexual activity.• Check the label for directions before using Pulmosil Suspension. Shake the bottle well before use. Reconstitute powder with 7ml of sterile water. Replace the cap and shake the bottle vigorously for a minimum of 30 seconds. Remove the cap and withdraw the dose accurately with the help of a dropper. Deliver it into the mouth.• Do not take Pulmosil Suspension more than once in a day. Do not use a kitchen teaspoon as it will not measure the right amount.
