Polychlor Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml

Polychlor Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is used to treat bacterial infections affecting the eyes or outer ear by eliminating susceptible bacteria.

• Bacterial eye infections: Helps clear superficial bacterial infections of the eye, such as pink eye (conjunctivitis), by stopping bacterial growth.
• Bacterial ear infections: Helps treat outer ear canal infections (swimmer's ear) by eliminating the bacteria causing pain and swelling.

Polychlor Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml provides targeted antibiotic treatment to eliminate bacteria, relieve symptoms, and promote faster recovery.

• Targets infection directly: Delivers the antibiotics directly to the affected eye or ear, helping achieve high concentrations at the site of infection while minimising systemic exposure.

• Polychlor Eye/Ear Drops 5 ml is for external use only.
• Follow your doctor's instructions for how often to use the drops.
• For Eye Drops: Wash your hands, tilt your head back, pull down your lower eyelid, and place the prescribed number of drops into the eye. Then, gently close your eyes and press the corner near your nose to prevent the medication from draining out.
• For Ear Drops: Lie on your side or tilt your head so the ear faces up, pull the ear upward and outward (for adults) or downward (for children), and place the prescribed number of drops into the ear.
• To avoid contamination, do not touch the tip of the dropper to your eye, ear, or any surface.
• If using more than one type of eye or ear medication, wait at least 5 minutes between each application.
• Wash your hands thoroughly with water before and after use.
• Use the dropper provided with the pack to instil the drops into the affected eye/ear.

• Avoid contact lenses during eye infections: Wear glasses instead until your doctor confirms that the infection has completely resolved.
• Keep your ears dry: If you are treating an ear infection, avoid swimming and keep the affected ear dry while bathing by using a shower cap or suitable ear protection.
• Maintain good hand hygiene: Wash your hands thoroughly before and after applying the medicine to help prevent spreading the infection.
• Avoid touching or rubbing the affected area: Do not rub or scratch your eyes or ears, as this may worsen irritation or introduce additional bacteria.
• Replace contaminated eye makeup: Discard any eye makeup used shortly before the infection developed to reduce the risk of reinfection.

• Inspect the solution before use: Do not use the drops if the liquid appears cloudy, discoloured, or contains visible particles.
• Avoid contaminating the dropper: Never allow the dropper tip to touch your eye, ear, fingers, or any other surface.
• Separate other topical medicines: If you are using other eye or ear drops, leave at least 5–10 minutes between applications unless your doctor advises otherwise.
• Complete the prescribed course: Continue using the medicine for the full duration prescribed, even if your symptoms improve before treatment is finished.
• Take care after eye application: Avoid driving or operating machinery until any temporary blurred vision has completely cleared.
