Storage

• Store in a cool and dry place away from sunlight.
• Keep Pfos O 40mg/10mg Tablet out of reach and sight of children.
• Non cold chain - To be stored in cool places at 10ÂºC to 25ÂºC or below 30ÂºC.

What if I have taken an overdose of Pfos O 40mg/10mg Tablet

Please do not exceed the recommended dose, as it might cause an overdose. Signs and symptoms of an overdose of Pfos O 40mg/10mg Tablet may include sudden loss of vision, severe constipation, feeling light-headed, or fainting, hypoactivity, ataxia, hunched sitting, limb-splay, lateral position, segregation, absence of ear reflex, and tremor. Seek immediate medical attention if you observe these symptoms or think you might have taken too much. Do this even if there are no signs of discomfort or poisoning.

Drug Warnings

Do not take Pfos O 40mg/10mg Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have/had low magnesium levels in the blood or electrolyte imbalance, low bone mineral density or bone problems, lupus, stomach or intestinal blockage, heart, kidney, or liver problems. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Let the doctor know if you are taking any other medicines, including herbal products and supplements.

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

Eat smaller meals more often.
Drink fluids to stay hydrated.
Avoid smoking and alcohol consumption. Alcohol intake leads to increased production of stomach acid, thereby increasing acidity and heartburn.
Maintain a healthy weight by regular exercising.
Avoid lying down immediately after eating, as it might trigger acidity.
Avoid tight-fitting clothes as they may create pressure in the abdomen and might force food and acid in your stomach into the oesophagus.
Practise relaxation techniques and avoid stress by doing yoga or meditation.
Limit foods such as high-fat, spicy chocolates, citrus fruits, pineapple, tomato, onion, garlic, tea and soda.
Do not sit continuously, as it may trigger acidity. Take a break of 5 minutes every hour by doing brisk walking or stretching.
