Pexiol 0.5 Tablet belongs to a group of antiparkinson agents or dopamine agonists used to treat the symptoms of Parkinson’s disease and moderate to severe Willis-Ekbom disease (restless legs syndrome) in adults.

Pexiol 0.5 Tablet contains 'Pramipexole' that works by mimicking the action of dopamine, a natural substance found in the brain. This triggers the nerve impulses in the brain that control body movements.

In some cases, you may experience side effects such as sleepiness, nausea, constipation, dizziness, fatigue, hallucinations, dry mouth, muscle spasms, and peripheral oedema (leg swelling due to fluid overload). Talk to your doctor if you experience the side effects persist or worsen.

Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Pexiol 0.5 Tablet may cause drowsiness and dizziness, do not drive unless you are alert. Keep your doctor informed about your health condition and medications to prevent any interactions.

• Parkinson’s Disease Treatment: Pexiol 0.5 Tablet treats symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, such as tremors, stiffness, and slow movement, by mimicking dopamine in the brain, improving motor function and mobility.
• Restless Legs Syndrome (RLS) Treatment: Pexiol 0.5 Tablet helps to alleviate symptoms of RLS, by reducing uncomfortable sensations and the urge to move the legs, improving sleep and quality of life.

• Take Pexiol 0.5 Tablet with or without food as advised by your doctor.
• It is advised to take Pexiol 0.5 Tablet 3 times daily; however, follow your doctor’s recommendation regarding the dosage and duration.
• Swallow Pexiol 0.5 Tablet as a whole with a glass of water.
• Do not crush, break, or chew it.
