About Pantafol Injection 10 ml

Pantafol Injection 10 ml is primarily used to treat gastro-oesophageal reflux disease (GERD), heartburn, erosive oesophagitis, Zollinger-Ellison syndrome (a rare condition in which the pancreas causes excessive acid production leading to peptic ulcers) and other conditions caused by excessive acid in the stomach. GERD is a condition that occurs when stomach acid frequently flows back into the oesophagus.

Pantafol Injection 10 ml contains Pantoprazole, which blocks the action of the gastric proton pump that is responsible for the production of acid in the stomach. This reduces the amount of acid produced, heals the ulcers, and prevents the formation of new ulcers.

Common side effects of Pantafol Injection 10 ml include headache, dizziness, diarrhoea, nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, gas, joint pain, redness, and swelling at the injection site. If the side effects persist or worsen, please consult a doctor.

Let your doctor know if you are sensitive or allergic to Pantafol Injection 10 ml or other medications. Pregnant and breastfeeding women should consult their doctor before using Pantafol Injection 10 ml. The name Pantafol Injection 10 ml is not recommended for children under the age of five.
