Oxyptadil 150 MCG Injection is indicated for the treatment of patients with Acute Respiratory Distress Syndrome (ARDS) and severe COVID-19 with ARDS. ARDS is a life-threatening lung injury that allows fluid to leak into the lungs. Due to this, breathing becomes difficult, and oxygen cannot get into the body.

Oxyptadil 150 MCG Injection contains Aviptadil, a synthetic form of human Vasoactive Intestinal Polypeptide (VIP), which helps reduce lung inflammation.

In some cases, Oxyptadil 150 MCG Injection may cause side effects such as diarrhoea, low blood pressure, facial flushing, and infusion-related reactions.
