Osonase Nasal Drops is used in the treatment of Seasonal and Perennial allergic rhinitis. The detailed uses of Osonase Nasal Drops are as follows:

• Treatment of Seasonal Allergic Rhinitis: Osonase Nasal Drops is used to relieve nasal symptoms such as sneezing, congestion, runny nose, and itching caused by seasonal allergies (hay fever) in adults and children aged 6 years and older.
• Management of Perennial Allergic Rhinitis: Osonase Nasal Drops is also effective for year-round allergies, helping control chronic nasal inflammation and discomfort in adults and children aged 12 years and older.

Osonase Nasal Drops belongs to the group of medicines called corticosteroids used to treat nasal symptoms associated with seasonal and perennial allergic rhinitis. Osonase Nasal Drops contains Ciclesonide, which works by preventing and decreasing inflammation in the nose. Thereby, it provides relief from symptoms like sneezing and stuffy, runny, or itchy nose.

• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, to ensure the safety.
• Hold one nostril closed with your finger. Tilt your head slightly forward and carefully insert the tip of the nasal applicator into the open nostril, keeping the bottle upright. Begin to breathe through your nose, and while you are breathing in, use your forefinger and middle finger to press quickly and firmly down on the applicator and release a spray.
• Use Osonase Nasal Drops only in your nose.
• Avoid swallowing it, getting it in your eyes, or spraying it directly on the nasal septum (the wall between your nostrils).

• Avoid stress as the immune system is affected by stress, and raises the risk of being sick. Exercise regularly, meditate, do deep breathing, and try progressive muscle relaxation techniques to relieve stress.
• To stay fit and safe, try to sleep 7-9 hours each night.
• It is advised to avoid contact with known allergens (allergy-causing agents) such as pollen, dust, and certain food items known to cause allergies.
• Maintain personal hygiene and keep your surroundings clean.

Do not use Osonase Nasal Drops if you are allergic to any of its components. Inform the doctor if you have/had any history of asthma, tuberculosis, bacterial, fungal, or viral infection, glaucoma, cataracts, herpes infection of the eye, nasal pain that has not healed, nose injury/surgery, arthritis, eczema, liver or kidney problems. Consult the doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Tell your doctor if you have never had measles or chickenpox and have not been vaccinated against these infections. Stay away from people who are sick, as Osonase Nasal Drops may decrease your ability to fight infections. Osonase Nasal Drops is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age.
