Optihist New Eye Drop contains boric acid and naphazoline. Boric acid has mild antimicrobial properties and acts against bacterial and fungal infections. It provides soothing relief from eye irritation and removes pollutants from the eye. Naphazoline is a vasoconstrictor that works by constricting or narrowing the eye's blood vessels, thus providing relief from redness, swelling, and irritation.
You should use this medicine exactly as prescribed by the doctor. The common side-effects of Optihist New Eye Drop are redness, irritation, and blurred vision at the application site.
