About OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML

OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML is used to treat bacterial eye infections, including conjunctivitis and ulcers of the cornea. Conjunctivitis (pink eye) is a common bacterial eye infection associated with the inflammation or infection of the conjunctiva (white part of the eye) and the inner eyelid. 

OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML contains Ofloxacin, which works by inhibiting DNA gyrase (bacterial enzyme) that is involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thereby, it kills bacteria and clears infection.

Use OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML as prescribed by your doctor. OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML is only for use in eyes. You are advised to use OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML for as long as your doctor has prescribed it for you based on your medical condition. In some cases, you may experience dry eyes, blurred vision, eye discomfort, eye redness, mild itching, or irritation in the eye. Most of these side effects of OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Directions for Use

Benzalkonium chloride also causes irritation in the eye especially if you have disorders of cornea (transparent layer at the front of eye) or dry eyes. Therefore, you are advised to remove contact lenses before using OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML and reinsert them after 15 minutes after using OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML. Also, inform your doctor if you experience pain, stinging or abnormal sensation in the eye after using OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML.

OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML may cause temporary blurred vision immediately after using. Therefore, you are recommended to wait until your vision is clear before driving or operating machinery.

OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML is not used to treat fungal infection in the eye. OJEN EYE DROPS 5ML is only used to treat bacterial eye infections.
