Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion is an antibiotic used in treating bacterial infections. This medicine stops the growth of bacteria by inhibiting the gyrase enzyme and thereby helps reduce various bacterial infections of urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. This medicine is not effective for treating viral infections. About Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion

Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion is used in the treatment of bacterial infections of the urinary tract, genital tract, chest, lungs, skin, and soft tissue. Bacterial infection is a condition in which harmful bacteria grow in the body and cause infection. It can infect any part of the body and multiply very quickly. Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion does not work against infections caused by a virus.

Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion contains Ofloxacin, which works by interfering with bacterial enzymes and DNA gyrase involved in repairing and replicating the DNA (genetic material) of bacteria. Thus, Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion kills bacteria and clears the infection. 

Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion will be administered by a healthcare professional. Do not self-administer. In some cases, you may experience redness, swelling or pain at the injection site, headache, nausea, and diarrhoea. Most of these side effects of Ofuxin 200 mg Infusion do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.
