About Odeon 2 Drops

Odeon 2 Drops is used in the treatment of pediatric gastroenteritis in infants and children aged 6 months to 12 years. It is also used in the prevention of nausea and vomiting associated with moderately emetogenic cancer chemotherapy in children aged six months and above. Nausea is an uneasy feeling in which a person feels an urge to vomit.

Odeon 2 Drops contains ondansetron, which works by blocking the action of a chemical in the body (serotonin) responsible for causing nausea and vomiting. As a result, Odeon 2 Drops prevents the sensation of nausea and vomiting caused by cancer chemotherapy.

Odeon 2 Drops may cause certain side effects in your child, such as a feeling of warmth, headache, diarrhoea, and stomach pain. These side effects generally resolve over time. However, if it does not resolve, stop giving this medicine to your child and contact the pediatrician.

Do not give more than the prescribed dose of Odeon 2 Drops to the child. Odeon 2 Drops can be given with or without food. The dose of the medicine will be decided by your pediatrician.
