OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's is used in the treatment of depression, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), social anxiety disorder, panic disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). Depression is a mood disorder associated with symptoms such as sadness, inability to sleep properly or enjoy life as you used to. OCD is a mental disorder with symptoms such as excessive thoughts or ideas (obsessions), leading to repetitive behaviours (compulsions). Panic disorder is linked to anxiety with sudden feelings of fear when there is no danger in reality.

OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's contains Sertraline, which works by inhibiting the reabsorption of released serotonin back into the nerve cells. Thus, it increases serotonin activity (chemical messenger) in the brain that is involved in regulating mood, behaviour, and emotions.

Some people may experience drowsiness, dizziness, insomnia (difficulty in sleeping), dry mouth, nausea, headache, diarrhea, tiredness, or ejaculation failure. Most of these side effects of OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist or worsen, please consult your doctor.

Take OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's with or without food as prescribed by your doctor and swallow whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew it. Your doctor will advise you how often you take OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's based on your medical condition.

If you are allergic to OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's or any other medicines, please tell your doctor. OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's is not recommended for use during pregnancy, especially in the last 3 months. Do not take OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as moclobemide and methylene blue to treat depression and opioids, as it may cause severe adverse effects.

• Prevention of recurrence of depression: OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's helps in the prevention of future episodes of depression in individuals with a history of recurrent depressive disorders.
• Panic disorder: OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's is used to prevent and manage sudden panic attacks with or without agoraphobia.
• Social anxiety: OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's minimizes fear, nervousness, and avoidance in social interactions.
• Treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder: OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's reduces unwanted repetitive thoughts and compulsive behaviors.
• Support in post-traumatic stress disorder: OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's reduces symptoms like flashbacks, anxiety, and hyperarousal after trauma.

It may cause a serious condition in the baby, such as persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn (PPHN), which causes the baby to appear bluish and breathing faster. Therefore, please consult a doctor if you are pregnant or planning for pregnancy.
• OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's may be excreted in human milk. Please consult a doctor if you are a breastfeeding mother.
• OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's should be used with caution in elderly patients as there is an increased risk of low sodium levels in the blood.  
• If you have any self-harming or suicidal thoughts before taking OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's, inform your doctor as they may worsen in the initial days of taking OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's.
• Do not take OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's with monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) such as moclobemide and methylene blue to treat depression and opioid painkillers, as it may cause severe adverse effects.
• If you have diabetes, fits, bipolar disorder, bleeding disorders, glaucoma, severe diarrhoea, low sodium or potassium levels in the blood, neuroleptic malignant syndrome or serotonin syndrome (potentially life-threatening conditions), or liver or heart problems, inform your doctor before taking OCD-FIX 25 mg Tablet 14's.
