Norcap 400mg Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections caused by susceptible bacteria. It is indicated in the treatment of urinary tract infections, prostatitis (prostate inflammation), and gonorrhoea (a sexually transmitted disease). Additionally, it is used to treat infections of the stomach and intestine, such as traveller's diarrhoea. It contains Norfloxacin, which kills the bacteria and treats bacterial infections. Norcap 400mg Capsule is used to treat bacterial infections such as urinary tract infections, prostatitis (prostate inflammation), and gonorrhoea (a sexually transmitted disease). Additionally, Norcap 400mg Capsule is used to treat infections of the stomach and intestine, such as traveler’s diarrhoea.

Norcap 400mg Capsule contains norfloxacin, which works by inhibiting the bacterial enzyme DNA gyrase, thereby preventing bacterial DNA replication and leading to the death of the bacteria.

Take Norcap 400mg Capsule as prescribed. In some cases, Norcap 400mg Capsule may cause common side effects such as abdominal cramps, nausea, diarrhoea, heartburn, headache, and dizziness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Take Norcap 400mg Capsule as prescribed. It can be taken 1 hour before food or 2 hours after food. Swallow the medicine as a whole with a glass of water. The dose and duration of medicine will be decided by the physician.
