Bacterial infections occur when harmful bacteria multiply inside or on the body. Nitopod 100 Dry Syrup does not work against infections caused by the virus, including cold and flu.

Nitopod 100 Dry Syrup contains Cefpodoxime proxetil, which is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against both gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria. Nitopod 100 Dry Syrup works by preventing the formation of bacterial cell covering (cell wall), which is necessary for their survival. • Treats infections caused by gram-positive and gram-negative bacteria:Nitopod 100 Dry Syrup is a broad-spectrum antibiotic effective against a wide range of bacterial pathogens.

• Nitopod 100 Dry Syrup can be given 1 hour before or 2 hours after meals. Try giving it to your child with food to avoid stomach upset.
• Follow your doctor’s instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication, or use it as per the labelled instructions.
• Mix the dry syrup with boiled, cooled water to the mark on the label, then shake the bottle well.
• Measure the prescribed dose using the measuring cup/dosing syringe/dropper provided with the pack and administer it orally to your child.
