Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop is used to relieve eye irritation, pain, and redness after a cataract eye surgery. This medicine is also indicated to reduce the risk of macular oedema and swelling in the back of the eye after cataract surgery in patients dealing with diabetes. 

Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop consists of Nepafenac, which blocks the action of prostaglandins that are responsible for causing pain, redness, and inflammation. Thereby, it provides relief in painful eye conditions.

Like all medications, Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop may cause some undesirable effects; however, not everybody gets them. The most common side effects of using Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop include blurred vision, vision change, and reduced vision. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and may resolve over time. However, consult the doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Inform the doctor if you have diabetes, arthritis, or a bleeding or blood-clotting disorder such as haemophilia and dry eye syndrome. Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop should not be used for more than 14 days after cataract surgery unless suggested by the doctor. You are recommended to remove the contact lenses before using Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop and reinsert them after 15 minutes as it may change the colour of the lenses. You should avoid touching the eye dropper or placing it directly in the eye. Touching the dropper may contaminate the tip and infect the eye, leading to a serious eye problem.

• Post-operative inflammation: Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop is used to reduce inflammation and pain after cataract surgery, promoting faster healing and improving surgical outcomes.
• Pain relief: Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop helps to relieve pain and discomfort in the eyes after surgery, allowing patients to recover more comfortably.

• Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop is for ophthalmic (for eye) use only.
• It is recommended to instill one drop of Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop 3 times daily or as directed by your doctor.
• Check the label for directions before using this medication.
• Lie down and tilt your head backward. Gently pull your lower eyelid with your index finger to form a pocket. Instil the prescribed number of drops into the pocket. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.
• Replace the cap tightly after each use.
• Avoid touching the container tip to the eye or eyelids to prevent contamination.

Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop belongs to the category of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) used to prevent and relieve pain and inflammation after eye surgery (cataract). Do not use Nepaice Sterile Eye Drop if you are allergic to any of its components. Before using this medicine, tell your doctor if you have dry eye syndrome, arthritis,  diabetes, or a bleeding or blood-clotting disorder such as haemophilia.
