It contains Pitavastatin, which reduces the production of LDL (bad cholesterol) and decreases excess cholesterol deposition and buildup in the brain and heart's major blood vessels. Nectavas 2mg Tablet is used to lower bad cholesterol and triglyceride levels in the blood. Additionally, Nectavas 2mg Tablet reduces the risk of heart attack and stroke in future. High cholesterol, known as hyperlipidaemia or dyslipidaemia, occurs when there is an excess of unhealthy cholesterol in the blood.
Nectavas 2mg Tablet contains Pitavastatin, which works by inhibiting the HMG-CoA reductase enzyme in the body that is essential to making cholesterol. Thereby, it decreases the production of LDL (bad cholesterol) by the liver.
Some people may experience constipation, diarrhoea, pain in arms or legs, muscle pain or back pain. Most of these side effects of Nectavas 2mg Tablet do not require medical attention and gradually resolve over time. However, if the side effects persist, please consult your doctor.
