Nax-B Gel is used to treat acne (pimples) and kill bacteria, causing acne. It contains Clindamycin and Benzoyl peroxide, which stops or slows down the growth of bacteria and clears acne. Also, it breaks down a protein known as keratin (that forms part of skin structure) and removes dead skin cells and softens skin. Thereby, helps in reducing blackheads and whiteheads. Avoid contact of this medicine with nose, ears, mouth, or eyes. In case, it comes in contact with these areas accidentally, rinse with warm water thoroughly. About Nax-B Gel

Nax-B Gel belongs to the class of dermatological preparations called ‘antiacne’ used to treat acne (pimples) and kill bacteria, causing acne. Acne is a common skin condition and occurs when hair follicles are blocked with dead skin cells and oil. The acne-causing bacteria feeds on sebum (natural oil produced by skin) causing redness and swelling.

Nax-B Gel is a combination of two drugs: Clindamycin (antibiotic) and Benzoyl peroxide (keratolytic agent). Clindamycin belongs to the class of antibiotics that inhibits the production of essential proteins that are necessary for bacteria to grow, multiply and increase in numbers. Thereby, stops or slows down the growth of bacteria and clears acne. Benzoyl peroxide is a keratolytic agent that breaks down a protein known as keratin (that forms part of skin structure) and removes dead skin cells and softens skin. Thereby, helps in reducing blackheads and whiteheads. Additionally, Benzoyl peroxide possesses antibacterial properties and kills bacteria that cause acne, and reduces inflamed acne spots.

The detailed use of Nax-B Gel is as follows:<br/>• Acne Treatment: Nax-B Gel is used to treat acne vulgaris by killing bacteria, unclogging pores, reducing acne severity, and minimizing inflammation, helping to prevent scarring and promote clearer skin.<br/>

Directions for Use

• Recommended to apply Nax-B Gel twice a day, in the morning and evening or as advised by your doctor.• Apply a small amount of Nax-B Gel as a thin layer and gently rub on the clean and dry affected area of the skin.• Wash the affected area with warm water.• Avoid contact with eyes as it may cause irritation. In case Nax-B Gel comes in contact with eyes accidentally, rinse with water thoroughly.

  • Apply pure aloe vera gel to the affected area for its cooling and soothing properties.

  • Wear loose, breathable clothing made from natural fibers to minimize friction on the affected area.
  • Moisturize frequently with thick, broad-spectrum moisturizers containing sunscreen.

What if I have taken an overdose of Nax-B Gel

Do not apply Nax-B Gel in large amounts or use it for a long time than recommended, as it does not give quick or better results but increases the risk of side effects or cause overdose. The symptoms of overdose include bloody or watery diarrhea. If you suspect you have used more or notice signs of overdose, please consult a doctor immediately.
