Nah-D Eye Drops is an ophthalmic lubricant used to treat dry eyes syndrome. This combination medicines helps relieve burning sensation, irritation, and discomfort due to dryness of the eye or due to irritation from wind and sun. Common side effects include a burning/stinging sensation or redness in the eye, increased eye sensitivity to the light, stickiness of eyelashes, swelling of eyelids, and blurred vision. About Nah-D Eye Drops

Nah-D Eye Drops belongs to the class of medications called 'ophthalmologic agents' used in treating dry eyes. Dry eye is a condition in which there is decreased production of tears by lachrymal glands (tear glands) due to vitamin A deficiency, allergic eye diseases or eye infections. It causes damage to the eye's outer coverings (cornea and conjunctiva) and increases the risk of inflammation or infections.

Nah-D Eye Drops is a combination of two medicines, D-Panthenol and Sodium Hyaluronic acid. D-Panthenol is derived from Pantothenic acid (vitamin B5). It has regenerative and anti-inflammatory properties and helps relieve dry eye symptoms and further damage to the eye. Sodium Hyaluronic acid is a complex polysaccharide or sugar naturally found in the eye. It is used as a component in eye drops to lubricate eyes and relieve dry eye symptoms.  

Nah-D Eye Drops is for ophthalmological use only. You should take this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. The common side-effects of Nah-D Eye Drops are application site reactions such as burning/stinging sensation or redness in the eye, increased eye sensitivity to the light, stickiness of eyelashes, swelling of eyelids, blurred vision and watery eyes. These side effects are usually mild and temporary. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist.

Do not take Nah-D Eye Drops if you are allergic to Sodium Hyaluronic acid, D-Panthenol or any other contents present in it. Before taking Nah-D Eye Drops, inform your doctor if you have glaucoma (a condition with increased pressure in the eye), ulcers in the eye, have undergone or are scheduled for eye surgery or any other eye problems. • Follow your doctor's instructions on the dosage and timing of this medication to ensure safe and effective use.• Lie down and tilt your head backwards. Pull your lower eyelid gently with your index finger to form a pocket. Instill the number of drops advised by the doctor into the pocket of the lower eyelid. Close your eyes for 1-2 minutes.• Nah-D Eye Drops is for ophthalmic use only. Avoid touching the container tip to your eye or lids to prevent contamination.

What if I have taken an overdose of Nah-D Eye Drops

Drug Warnings

Before taking Nah-D Eye Drops, inform your doctor if you use any other eye drops or eye ointment. Nah-D Eye Drops is recommended for treating dry eyes only, so do not use it for other indications without consulting your doctor. Discontinue using Nah-D Eye Drops if eye irritation persists and inform your doctor. Do not use Nah-D Eye Drops for a longer duration than recommended by your doctor. Inform your doctor immediately if you experience persistent visual disturbances while using Nah-D Eye Drops. Do not wear contact lenses while using Nah-D Eye Drops as it may affect your recovery.

Diet & Lifestyle Advise

  • Sleep for at least six to eight hours to rejuvenate your eyes naturally.
  • Wash your eyes with clean water at least two to three times a day.
  • Manage stress, eat healthily, drink plenty of water, exercise regularly and get plenty of sleep.
  • Reduce screen time (by avoiding watching tv, or phone) and use sunglasses while going out into the sunlight
