Myohenz Tablet is a combination medicine that contains pain relievers and muscle relaxants, and is used to treat pain associated with muscle spasms. It improves the movement of muscles and provides relief from pain and discomfort caused by the muscle spasm. A muscle spasm occurs due to involuntary contractions of a muscle. A spasm may be a muscle cramp or feel tight or stiff, like a knot.

Myohenz Tablet contains Aceclofenac (NSAID), Tolperisone (muscle relaxant) and Paracetamol (pain killer). Tolperisone works on the spinal cord and brain centres to relieve muscle stiffness without decreasing strength. It increases the supply of blood to the muscles. This reduces pain and improves the movement of muscles. Aceclofenac and Paracetamol block prostaglandins' (PGs) that cause pain and swelling.

Take Myohenz Tablet as prescribed. You may experience common side effects, such as nausea (feeling sick), constipation, flatulence, diarrhoea, dizziness, sleepiness, sweating, abdominal pain, and weakness. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to talk to your doctor if you experience these side effects persistently.

Before prescribing Myohenz Tablet , inform your doctor about all your allergic or hypersensitivity reactions to medicines or food. Also, tell your doctor about your medical history and other medications you are currently taking to rule out any potential adverse effects. Do not take Myohenz Tablet unless recommended by the doctor if you are pregnant or planning pregnancy or breastfeeding. Myohenz Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert and focused. Myohenz Tablet should not be given to children as safety has not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol and Myohenz Tablet as it could lead to liver damage.

By blocking the COX enzyme's effect, fewer PGs are produced, which reduces mild to moderate pain and inflammation at the injured or damaged site.

Myohenz Tablet may cause dizziness, so drive only if you are alert and focused. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Myohenz Tablet as it could lead to increased dizziness and risk of liver damage. Myohenz Tablet is not recommended in children as safety and efficacy are not established.
