About My Pill Tablet

My Pill Tablet is used to treat moderate to severe acne related to androgen sensitivity, and/or hirsutism (excess hair growth)in women of reproductive age with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome). It should be used only if your skin condition has not improved, even after topical or antibiotic treatment.

My Pill Tablet contains Ethinylestradiol and Cyproterone, which work by blocking the production of androgens (male hormones) in the ovaries. Thereby, it helps reduce acne and hair growth.

In some cases, My Pill Tablet may cause nausea, abdominal pain, headache, weight gain and mood changes. Most of these side effects may not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, you are advised to consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen.

Do not take My Pill Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components or if you are pregnant, might be pregnant or breastfeeding. My Pill Tablet inhibits ovulation and prevents conception; therefore, avoid using additional hormonal contraceptives whilst on treatment with My Pill Tablet . What if you forget to take My Pill Tablet

  • Do not use My Pill Tablet if you are allergic to any of its components.
  • Avoid using My Pill Tablet if you are using another hormonal contraception, are pregnant, might be pregnant or breastfeeding, or have had breast cancer, blood circulation problems/blood clots, heart attack or stroke.
  • Inform the doctor if you have high blood pressure/uncontrolled blood pressure, high cholesterol, migraine, severe liver disease or liver tumours.
