Mxn 0.3mg Tablet is used in the management of high blood pressure. It contains Moxonidine, which relaxes and widens the blood vessels making it easier for the heart to pump blood to all body parts. Mxn 0.3mg Tablet is used in the management of high blood pressure. Hypertension (high blood pressure) is a lifelong or chronic condition in which the force exerted by the blood against the artery walls becomes high.

Mxn 0.3mg Tablet contains Moxonidine, which relaxes and widens the blood vessels, making it easier for the heart to pump blood to all body parts.

Some people may experience dry mouth, dizziness, weakness, rash or itching, difficulty in sleeping, nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and will resolve gradually over time. However, speak to your doctor if these side effects persist.

Please tell your doctor if you are allergic to Mxn 0.3mg Tablet or any other medicines. If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, it is advised to inform your doctor before using Mxn 0.3mg Tablet. Regular monitoring of blood pressure, electrolyte levels, and kidney functioning is advised while taking Mxn 0.3mg Tablet. You should take Mxn 0.3mg Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Take it as a whole with a glass of water. Do not break, crush or chew it. It can be taken during, before, or after meals, as food does not affect the working of Mxn 0.3mg Tablet.

People who are allergic to Mxn 0.3mg Tablet or have heart function insufficiency, slow heart rate (below 50 beats/minute at rest) or change in the rate of the heartbeat (called sick-sinus syndrome or second or third degree AV-block) or an abnormal heart rhythm should avoid taking Mxn 0.3mg Tablet.

Symptoms of Mxn 0.3mg Tablet overdose include a fall in blood pressure, feeling sleepy, headache, feeling dizzy, slow heart rate and unusual weakness. The other symptoms can be being sick, dry mouth, feeling tired, and stomach pain. In case of overdose, contact your doctor or go to the nearest hospital emergency department immediately.

You can take atenolol with Mxn 0.3mg Tablet. However, consult your doctor before taking other medicines with Mxn 0.3mg Tablet. Additionally, stop taking atenolol for a few days before you stop Mxn 0.3mg Tablet, as stopping both treatments at the same time could result in an increased blood pressure.

Sleep disturbance is a common side effect of Mxn 0.3mg Tablet. This is usually mild and settles down soon. Contact your doctor if this side effect persists or worries you.
