Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab belongs to a group of medicines called tetracyclic antidepressants. Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab is used to treat major depressive disorder. Additionally, Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab is sometimes used to treat obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD) and anxiety disorders. Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab  works by increasing mood-enhancing chemical messengers, such as serotonin and norepinephrine, in the brain, which communicate between brain cells and thereby regulate mood and treat depression.

• Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab can be taken with or without food.
• It is usually taken once daily at bedtime or as prescribed by your doctor.
• Swallow Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab as a whole with a glass of water
• Do not crush, chew, or break it.

Inform your doctor if you have/had epilepsy, low blood pressure, urination problems or an enlarged prostate, glaucoma, diabetes, schizophrenia, mania, dementia (memory loss), heart, kidney or liver problems. Consult your doctor immediately if you have suicidal thoughts, such as killing or harming yourself. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding. Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab is not recommended for children below 18 years as safety and effectiveness have not been established. Avoid consuming alcohol along with Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab as it could lead to increased drowsiness and dizziness. Rise slowly from a sitting or lying position, as Mirtee Meltab-7.5 Tab may cause dizziness on standing suddenly.
