• Amoebic dysentery and intestinal amoebiasis: It helps by targeting and destroying both the active parasites and their dormant cysts living inside your gut, resolving painful diarrhoea and stomach cramps.
• Giardiasis: It eliminates the microscopic parasites responsible for this infection, which helps clear up watery diarrhoea, greasy stools, and abdominal pain.
• Abdominal flatulence and bloating: It works to break down gas bubbles in your stomach and intestines, providing rapid relief from painful pressure, bloating, and fullness associated with gut infections.

When taken consistently as directed, this medicine may provide the following physiological benefits:

• Treats the infection: It helps clear intestinal parasites and may help improve bowel movements and stomach discomfort.
• Relieves bloating and gas: It helps fight the infection while relieving trapped gas, bloating, stomach pressure, and flatulence.

• Practice strict hand hygiene: Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and clean water after using the restroom and before preparing or eating food to prevent reinfection.
• Drink purified water: Stick to boiled, bottled, or filtered water during your recovery. Avoid ice cubes and tap water, especially when travelling.
• Avoid raw or unpeeled foods: Eat thoroughly cooked meals and stick to fruits you can peel yourself (like bananas or oranges) to ensure you do not ingest more parasites.
• Limit gas-producing foods: Avoid carbonated drinks, beans, cabbage, and artificial sweeteners temporarily to help the anti-gas component of your medicine work more effectively.
• Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of fluids like clear broths or oral rehydration solutions to replace what is lost from diarrhoea and prevent dehydration.

• Avoid all alcohol: Do not drink alcohol or use products containing alcohol (like certain cough syrups) during treatment and for at least 72 hours after your final dose to prevent severe abdominal cramps, rapid heartbeats, and vomiting.
• Finish the entire course: Even if you feel completely better within 48 hours, do not stop taking it early. Skipping doses can allow surviving parasites to become resistant and the infection to return.
• Watch for nerve symptoms: Contact your doctor immediately if you experience any unusual tingling, numbness, or pins and needles in your fingers or toes.
